The one thing I noticed which was slightly disappointing is that it was published less that 2 months ago and there is a chapter on leinengen, but no mention of boot yet. Seems to be the case with all Clojure books on the market.
welcome @sam.french
I have a clojure question around https. Which channel should I ask, on #beginners ?
a good starting point... but you can always try here... we sometimes do discuss clojure related things 😉
I am making a http request using clj-http.client and am using the keystore option. I am using crypto.keystore for the keystore but I don't think the cert setup is working as expected. If I import-cert, then export-cert by name to test this, I get a NullPointerException. I see crypto.keystore hasn't been updated since 2012, so maybe it doesn't work as expected, or I am doing something wrong. If anyone has any pointers in using certs that would be appreciated. I could do it using the Java keystore class directly, but I thought there must be a way in Clojure like the crypto.keystore.
@sam.french I am afraid I have no clue... When I had a to do stuff like this we used self signed certificates and just ignored them 😇
Hello and welcome @manas.marthi
Thank you @maleghast
@yogidevbear if its not delivery cost, you can just ring them up and say the listed price is 679 and get it directly for that.
its like if u go into sainsburys and they have one price listed and then go checkout and its different, they usually give you a refund etc
They've changed the list price on the website since I looked at it initially
It's really weird. Like they've picked up it's being looked at and have pushed the price up
Even checked in a private tab on a different browser
Lol, or they're cleverly dubious
¯\(ツ)/¯
It's not immutable 😱 😉
apparently monarch prices were going up about £50 every 10 minutes yesterday, as they realised they were about to go under. maybe Currys is on its way out too!
Sorry about this Andrew. Our prices can fluctuate 2 or 3 times a day as we aim to be as competitive as possible. Having just checked our website, the appliance is now listed at £699. However, if you want to go ahead and place the order at this price, I can refund the £20 difference back to you. How does that sound? Rob
That was the response I got from ao
Interesting
It makes sense from a sales perspective, they have got u to buy the item and still make a decent profit
