@glenjamin ooh we are back to discussing type wars. I also wonder if Rich's disdain comes from the way most OO lang's model types?

i’ve seen lots of time/effort wasted creating types to represent plain data that didn’t provide much value

but i’ve also seen loads of time wasted from NPEs in production

I've also seen lots of time wasted in tracking obscure bugs from side effects of unexpected types passing thru unchecked.
