I’d recommend the Gothenburg area, lovely in summer. The “best coast”, from the Norwegian border down to Malmō is really nice with very varied nature. Personally, I’d forego the lake thing.

Åsnen in Småland is quite nice if you’re looking for a place

I spent last easter there

You can rent small summer houses on the shores for quite cheap and there’s a lot to see if you like walking

Sweden is also nice for going to saunas, even though Finnish people may like saunas "louder" 😄

I never understood the appeal of saunas personally
