Hey folks 👋 we've got a couple of breaking changes coming in for production users of 2.2.0-rc0 (not breaking for 2.1.0 -> 2.2.0) - if you've already deployed these to prod, especially for external sources, give us a DM/email? • One change is around Kafka transactions - a Design Partner brought to our attention (thank you!) that Azure Event Hubs doesn't support Kafka txs below the premium tier, so we've re-engineered our constraints here to avoid Kafka txs entirely. A larger change than we'd normally include in an RC bump, so it's worth us taking more care over its deployment. • The other is a minor change around DDL (yes, there's some optional DDL coming in future releases!) on external-source databases - if you don't use the xt.txs table on ext-source dbs it won't affect you. But also more generally, if you're using external sources for interesting things, please do post about it here - we always love to hear about it 🙂
