For visibility: the playlist for the podcast series; "Clojure in product: Would you do it again?" Which I have quite enjoyed because, more than just Clojure programming, it's operators / builders talking tradeoffs. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43124980 Today I found out it was intended to be a limited series... I hope they decide to do a "season two"!
Hello @adityaathalye, Really appreciate you sharing the podcast and your kind words! We originally planned it as a limited series, but seeing the interest and great conversations it has sparked, we’ll do our best to keep it going, just at a less frequent pace. There’s still so much to explore around Clojure in product development, and we’d love to continue bringing those discussions to the community.
Thanks for the effort already. I have some idea how much work it is to do this kind of stuff. Committing to a limited series was a good idea to begin with. Can't speak for anyone else, but generally, I think you've brought out stories that I have never heard, in the last ten years of lurking in the Clojure community! Plus the premise is fantastic "would you do it again?". Quite the challenge to throw at a technologist. I like how people, even though super fans, are all too aware of the tradeoffs that they've embraced.
Like I said, it is a hope that the series returns. Maybe it's like a Netflix production... the next ten episodes in the second half of 2025 :)
Thanks so much for the kind words! It means a lot to hear that the stories we’ve uncovered resonate, especially from someone who’s been in the Clojure community for a decade. We’ll definitely aim to keep the conversations going. Not sure about Netflix-style, but let’s see what 2025 brings! 😊
