Whats the best way to fit more clojure on the eamcs frame? Its not 'text-scale-decrease' that introduces a lot of meaning less space as you can see in the picture below:

I have scaled down text in emacs to be tiny without issue, using either Ubuntu or Firacode fonts.
SPC z f - reduces the scale of the whole frame (all buffers and menus)
SPC z t - reduces the scale of the text in the current buffer
I haven't seen scaling introduce extra blank space lines before. Suggest trying a different font or trying with the default Spacemacs packages (i.e. an unchanged .spacemacs file) and see if the issue persists.
