@alandipert: Most of my configuration is now taking place in separate Layers now, it’s working quite well. Rightly or wrongly I have a few with just a config.el, for instance for my clojure config I use the standard clojure layer (So I don’t have to re invent the wheel with keybindings etc) and then I have a layer loaded after that loads my custom configs .. cider preferences, cljr magic rewrites etc

I am getting more into Literate programming and Org-mode though, so I am trying to figure out the best way to do whilst still fitting into the whole spacemacs ‘layer’ system.
