by the way what do you think about the performance in atom?

with proton + a fair amount of addons, I start to notice that it slows compared to sublime

I hear that 1.9 beta is faster

just downloaded, and yea, I can confirm it seems a bit faster

yeah that's a problem. Mainly because of how atom is implemented. If you look at vscode, it runs inside electron as well but doesn't have any of the speed issues

sublime will almost always be faster just because it doesn't rely on a DOM and js

right, yea that’s unfortunate, hope things can get ironed out like vscode, surprising to see that actually leading the way on speed

I like this plugin and atom too much so I don’t think I’ll be leaving for a long time

plus, learning more vim

so have you left the sublime version entirely @dvcrn?
