I like your blog theme!

Hi, all. I'm Norman. I've been lurking mostly on #let-go. I'm currently in between things - I was doing mlops and AI/ML at Google as a Senior SWE, but have been doing personal dev work and advising since 2024. I was invited here by @ingy, but I've known about clojure since close to its inception. I never quite got around to using it until recently, I'm also the crazy person adding a compiler engine, written in let-go, to optimize let-go's vm and AOT frameworks. It's been a fun exercise that started as a 3 hour tour... My linkedin: https://linkedin.com/in/norman-nunley

Welcome to the community! I've enjoyed watching your work on let-go.

Any chance you were involved with googles version of let-go?

Unlikely. I wasn't aware they were doing anything like that. I've been out of Google since 2024

Do you have a reference I can look at? Unfortunately, if something's being worked on by Google, it makes it hard to form a good search for it on their search engine.

I can’t remember the name but it was something internal

And also welcome 😁

Given the pool of internally accepted languages is so very, very narrow.

Thanks! It's been fun! Writing a compiler for a language has been a fun way to learn it deeply.
