hello everyone! I’ve been lurking in a few threads for a month or two now, but I realized I’ve never properly introduced myself! I’m Evan, a developer based on the gulf coast of the US lucky enough to get to sling Clojure as his day job, but still think I’m something of a Clojure novice. I’m happy to be here, and I hope to learn more from everyone (and to contribute a bit, myself sometime)!

Hey, good luck with the storm. 🌪️

I appreciate it! I’m closer to New Orleans than Tallahassee, so I think we’ll be ok this time, but it certainly is an ever-present threat this time of year

Guilherme Bignelli20:08:48

Hey, I'm Guilherme, and I'm embracing new opportunities to delve into the functional paradigm through learning Clojure. My passion for programming started while playing in Minecraft, where I created mods that included elements from various games and ideas. This journey deepened my interest of Java and the intricate ecosystem of the JVM. In addition, while at university I've contributed to the development of a test framework for automotive networking. Within this role, I took upon the complexities of data communication between vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and their networking protocols, particularly working the CAN bus. My background includes not only a foundation in C and C++, but also challenges in web3(crypto) development. However, I currently focus around immersing myself in Clojure, driven by the curiosity and enthusiasm that I had with the JVM from the beginning.

Welcome! My own passion for programming also started with the desire to make Minecraft mods. Though in the years since I’ve made zero Minecraft mods, but I’d say entering the Clojure world was a nice alternate path.

Thank you! I managed to publish some, although I stopped maintaining them, they were fun projects.

Hi, I'm Saleem, I'm a uni student and stumbled upon Clojure through Common Lisp and Brian Will's Videos. My main use for Clojure is exploring new paradigms and build small projects for me and small business. It would be nice to find a Repository to contribute to.
