Is there a way to make formula aware of changes to metadata?
I did a little digging and found that it relies on -equiv
This issue is somewhat related to your question https://github.com/hoplon/javelin/issues/37 but the response is not with the current implementation.

excellent find with -equiv, i added a comment tothe above issue pointing out something Micha mentioned but i forgot to write down until now
