in emacs markdown mode when I have a link like:
([Open this example on the Squint playground](
and I click it, the squint playground cannot decode the src parameter because emacs markdown-mode converts percent signs into something else. However, when I copy/paste the link it works. How can I fix this? The issue was fixed by them!
Hmm, the same happens in the above here in slack. When https://squint-cljs.github.io/squint/?src=gzip%3AH4sIAAAAAAAAE3VQu27DMAzc%2FRWMssiDH90KTQHyCR0No1AlpnYbPSJRDYIg%2F15YVowuFQcRxN3xjtxGMLdGel8BcBHwkuaAMLCJyEfRdRhNG6cuoPyUZj70bd%2B%2BvDIQMkKZjXVdVVzjCSJJQuCSnIG7UC5ZwgD94wmwyyrljHcWLcEwVgCD0PNPBaUBdswsLYAB3yQOWbkeV9xHInIW7sLZRp1n9Q17Hq%2FS74qB5PXybezZqvqxUIEdM9zgjo3jZiqg1RhWO7yE6sqQf8VOO5UMWmovCcPtDc%2BoyAVge%2Bk9q2H4G2o9htS6uUpSU3EkxFPuZGF4h1w5zb%2BPr4w665X%2BF3G0JymtAQAA it does work. What's going on
your markdown link seems to include the trailing parenthesis in the link: mtAQAA))
or atleast that's how slack seems to interpret that
ok different example without parens, same problem:
- [Input field + counter]() thanks, that works in slack, but not in markdown-mode
strange.. seems that the culprit is markdown-link-at-pos calling url-unhex-string on it, I would've thought that the browser would re-escape them anyway
git blame points to https://github.com/jrblevin/markdown-mode/pull/806
thanks, I guess I'll file an issue with them
