Is datahike used/usable in the browser? The website is dead and I don't know where to find clear docs on this.
There is a version floating around which has indexeddb persistence. But it is slow and not up to date with many improvements in main or compatible with the storage layout etc. Datahike never really caught on to get such work funded so largely remains a project that receives small incremental improvements when open source maintainers need those improvements for their own projects. Christian is most active in development and responsive to people that have a really valid use case if the work is tightly scoped and small updates.
thanks for the added details:) I think datascript will be fine for me, the out-of-box support for indexeddb was the reason I looked into datahike, but I can probably just dump the datoms, my db will be relatively small
nvm, found it "Datahike also at the moment does not support ClojureScript anymore, although we plan to recover this functionality."
It is now btw. Going to land a few more fixes soon, still in beta, but it already has auto sync.
