does clojureclr support interactive programming?
ClojureCLR has an NREPL implementation that allows it to plug in to Calva in V Code. Likely other arrangements are possible.
cool!
has anybody tried with Emacs/CIDER?
(like SLIME in common lisp)
[ANN] ClojureCLR-1.12.0-alpha10 has been released.
Since the last alpha, I've been catching up on the remaining updates that have gone into Clojure 1.12.0. There were a small number of easy fixes. The big effort for this iteration was implementing method values (qualified methods and :param-tags -- described [here](https://clojure.org/news/2024/04/28/clojure-1-12-alpha10#method_values).
I had held off on that update because (a) it took quite a number of commits on the Clojure side to get it fully baked, and (b) compiler hacking scares the crap out of me/ gives me the heebie-jeebies is something I approach with caution. Plus, this is an area where the basic mechanism already has some CLR additions. Those also had to be adapted for method values and :param-tags. I wrote a little post about [what that looks like](https://dmiller.github.io/clojure-clr-next/general/2024/09/05/qualified-methods-for-ClojureCLR.html). (Eventually I will update the wiki to match.)
Also, support for .NET 7.0 and .NET Core 3.1 were removed -- MS no longer supports them.
I want to do a little more work, but we should go Beta1 next week.
Cheers.
