Looks like they have done very well

It looks like the "No Overall Control" party has "gained" quite a lot in this election 😄 😄 😄

I guess it goes to show the strength of the feeling in the country about certain things

We had primary elections here in Ohio on Tuesday. Jay voted, even tho' she had knee replacement surgery the day before... but it took a lot out of her (she'd already had physical therapy that afternoon!).

We're "unaffiliated" (no party preference) but Ohio has semi-open primaries so you can choose a party ballot if you want. Primary elections just determine which candidates for each office for a given party will end up on the ballot, competing with candidates from other parties.

We just did the "issues" ballot, because all the Dem candidates in the primary are "good enough", and the really important vote will be our general in November.

It's going to be very interesting when the results come in tomorrow

They are predicting that Labour is going to get decimated.

Time will tell.

Yeah, I worry that Reform will win a lot 😞

They may not win, but they'll split the vote, causing the councils having no-overall majority.
