Is it the sounds or the stinging that's annoying you?

Mostly the sound. I don't react very strongly to the stings, but the sound around my ears triggers some kind of adrenaline response. It gets me from half asleep to wide awake.

Possibly a bunch of larva must have matured around your house. Check stagnant water for eggs/larva. Inside they usually head for windows later in the day, and during the intense heat this summer I left them with only one bathroom window to aim for. It was a carnage every night.

My less clear joke… I often almost do :coffin:, instead of :coffee:, because “thank you auto-completion”. And someone elsewhere made the observation that if I was a vampire I would have the same problem, in reverse.

I wonder if vampires need coffee after rising from their coffins
