Good morning 🌅

I was sure that this was an art sculpture on first sight! 😄

Func Prog Conf looks interesting! Tickets are affordable (1500 SEK ~ 135 EUR). I might try to make it. Anyone else planning to go?

I'll bite! Just got a ticket. Curious to see what @neumann’s talk is going to be about!

I’ll be there. What a bonus to see some of you guys there!

maybe we can even do a clojure user group the day before or something?

I'd love to meet up! Either the day before or after could work.

We can host a meetup at the Agical office the day before.

trying to send a 60Mb from a Mac to a windows machine...... why is this soooooooo complicated? and not simple or easy.

I'd be tempted to use Dropbox or OneDrive specifically for that purpose 🙂

All my ebooks are on Dropbox and sync to every device, incl my phone. And I have a huge amount of docs on OneDrive, also sync'd to every device. Plus, with either you can create a one-off share link that can be used on another device to d/l the file, without even installing anything on the target machine...

I've used both Android to iOS and Linux to Windows

Hmm, trying to remember the command line utility one of the Clojure team suggested, to securely transfer large files peer-to-peer...

wormhole

Syncthing doesn't work?

tailscale works pretty well for this

or dropbox which I do use

I wasn't the owner of one of the machines.

we tried to connect my phone to the Mac, but that didn't find it. nor did a USB stick work for some reason

Start sshd on the mac and scp the file? ... I think it's under "remote login" in the preferences? (I don't own a Mac or a windows machine)

we weren't even on the same network. we both used our own 4/5G hotspot.

@thomas have you tried tailscale?

Hadn't heard of it, maybe next time.

Very dramatic sky! Where was this taken?

Ilhabela, Brazil

I was expecting somewhere in Europe! 😄 Very nice. I'd say "I bet the seafood is good there?" but I think I remember you saying you are vegan?

Both are true 🤣

Although my knowledge of the quality of the seafood is only second hand
