Good morning

Good morning!

I'm not going to let the daylight slip away from me today. Off we go 🥾🌞🌻

godspeed! No walk in the middle of my office-monday, unfortunately.

Ah well. Make up for it tomorrow 🙂

Doing code reviews in most languages other than Clojure is an exercise in seeing past line noise. It is so frustrating that actual logic is hidden in a forest of keywords, lines and files.

Reviewing a PR in C# now, 84 files to look at. Yay!

I raise you with go and a million vendored files

Oh yes, golang is special I agree.

Fewer keywords though 😆

I'm refactoring a lot at the moment and I just love how concise I can make Clojure code. By comparison, I do not miss the days of Java coding, though I wouldn't mind doing it again for a living if the Clojure fun ran out.

I finishing off on the roof this afternoon. Doesn't work well with the screen, of course, but the weather is so nice today and crucially: no wind!

And the peas are sprouting! Couple of plants are failing too, though.

ah, a day of reviewing contracts before sending them out

like programming, but with an opaque language and you need a specialist degree to understand it

All the fun, minus the fun.

Have I missed out on some @borkdude music? Otherwise, it'd be nice to hear some again... 😄 After you've been working on new stuff (as I recall).

I'm currently playing pieces that are too difficult for me so I won't record them any time soon and on top of this my piano teacher has a burnout :-s

ohhhh that sucks

Well.... What about recording something that's easy for you and showing it off 😄 Got it, flaunt it

I'd love to hear something

I'll see what I can do. Perhaps I can backtrack on some of my previous pieces :)
