Hello all! I was wondering if someone has any idea of Clojure (Script) companies in Calgary ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ At the moment I reside in Vancouver, but I am thinking of moving

I haven't found any yet (and there may be some I haven't heard of), a lot of remote clojure devs here though.

Not actively hiring atm, but not against accepting a resume

We arenโ€™t currently looking for more regulars, always looking for available contract work tho

@shaun-mahood congrats! what is the new job?

shaun-mahood 2020-06-02T17:33:33.018400Z

Frontend engineering at http://pitch.io (CLJS and re-frame) :)

And ... Are you folks hiring ๐Ÿ˜…

richiardiandrea 2020-05-30T19:08:24.005400Z

Oh cool, do you folks have a meetup or something? In general I am thinking of coming and see if we like it and then start moving. About remote work, what are the companies? The obvious candidate there is CircleCI I guess?

shaun-mahood 2020-05-31T01:43:52.006900Z

I think @dadair is in Calgary too

shaun-mahood 2020-05-31T01:44:49.008700Z

But you should totally come to Edmonton if you really want somewhere without Clojure companies :)

I donโ€™t know if any other Calgary companies using clojure, so itโ€™s pretty province-wide Shaun ๐Ÿ˜‚

@flyboarder any ideas?

flyboarder 2020-05-31T01:47:58.011400Z

im not sure about other companies, but we span across edmonton/calgary

shaun-mahood 2020-05-31T01:48:50.012800Z

Have you got more developers than just you doing Clojure now?

shaun-mahood 2020-05-31T01:51:36.015600Z

I got a new job working for a company in Germany, and my Edmonton based former employer is planning to migrate away from Clojure - so you might be the only companies that I know of in the province.
