@seancorfield would you be so kind to go through this codecov song and dance for me for antq (I don't have the privs)? https://clojurians.slack.com/archives/CE1A21MPF/p1714527649522299
I have no idea what you need. Can you be explicit?
Thanks for the reply. I thought the pasted thread would explain? Same thing on http://codecov.io but for clj-commons/antq? Let me know if it is still unclear.
Very unclear
Oh
No idea what codecov is
Ah. Lost in the sands of time!
A few clj-commons projects upload their code coverage reports to http://codecov.io, which provides code coverage reports.
One of these projects is clj-commons/rewrite-clj (which you helped me with in 2024, hence pasted thread above).
Here's its code coverage on http://codecov.io: https://app.codecov.io/gh/clj-commons/rewrite-clj
Our new clj-commons/antq project also uploads its code coverage reports to to http://codecov.io.
I need help with getting a codecov token for antq because I don't have clj-commons github org-level privs.
When antq was transferred to clj-commons, it came with a CODECOV_TOKEN secret, but we need to use our own.
Sooo... I was hoping you could generate one for clj-commons/antq from http://codecov.io and edit the existing CODECOV_TOKEN secret under https://github.com/clj-commons/antq/settings/secrets/actions with its value.
I don't actually believe in code coverage
Yeah, me neither, as a metric to strive for. But it is interesting to see what is covered, especially for adopted orphans. And I'd like to preserve what antq was doing if I can.
Okay, yesterday's conversation was on my phone, in a bar, which is why I didn't read the whole thread you linked to, hence my confusion! One suggestion in that thread was to make you an admin for the whole org, and since you work on infrastructure for multiple projects, that's probably the simplest solution.
Ah. Bar. Phone. That explains many things! Sure, making me an admin for clj-commons org works for me, @seancorfield, thanks!
I invited you as a member of the org and put you in the Admins team. LMK whether that gives you enough privs...
Thanks Sean! I can see I am part of Admins team. I don't see Settings tab yet.
Okay, made you an owner so you should have complete access to everything now.
I'll take you out of the Admins team, since that didn't do what I expected 🙂
Oh the raw power! I shall use it carefully and wisely, Sean. Much thanks.
