unrelated, but what's the book?
Seven More Languages in Seven Weeks by pragmatic press It has a chapter on MiniKanren (which uses core.logic), Julia, Lua, Factor, Elm, Elixir and Idris
nice! I read the first one. didn't know that the sequel had minikanren
Asking here instead, since the books channel seems to be relatively dead.
I read it on my phone, away from my computer. I took the teasers as being "how do you think this will work?" rather than actually trying things out in the REPL. The answers are generally really good at explaining the actual behavior (and why someone might think otherwise). I suspect some folks will want to try the code in a REPL just to confirm the answers but I didn't feel much need for that.
(and I didn't even know we had a #CD9UFQS93 channel!)
Looks like almost no one except Karthik has posted there since around 2022...
in writing the book, we discussed both and hoped that it would be readable either at or away from a computer (obviously you can do more exploration with a REPL at hand)
You could always run a REPL if you have an Android Phone or Tablet, along with a Clojure aware editor e.g. https://practical.li/neovim/termux/ or https://practical.li/spacemacs/termux/ and Clojure LSP.
How about https://tryclojure.org? Works for me on iPhone.
