Dear all - I have a bunch of mvn/repos in my bb.edn and I was wondering if I can read env vars from it (like in project.clj)
read env vars from what?
sorry - read vars from the environment the script is run from
I don't see how adding mvn/repos to bb.edn relates to env vars?
yeah it is for user and psw of the repo in project.clj (or build.clj but that's code) you can add
:username :env/username1 :password :env/password1right. no, bb.edn doesn't support it. you can add deps programmatically though with (babashka.deps/add-deps ...) and you can pass a whole deps.edn in there
perhaps that helps
yep that might help I'll try that
is this issue also relevant to you? https://github.com/babashka/babashka/issues/1972
Can you put the private repo stuff in settings.xml (in ~/.m2) and you can use ${env.<VAR>} in that XML file.
I saw that comment about .m2 - I'll have to ask the devops team to do that as I don't have control over it
This is a very n00b question but does anybody know if one can disable pulling deps from maven central?
I guess you can specify :mvn/repos {} or so?
responding to self
I tried this and it works
"central" nil
kcool
is mvn still having troubles?
that probably would also work - but I am adding my own - thanks borkdude
well - we are receiving a lot of 429 lately
I hear about some rate limiting problem now
yeah that's exactly what is happening
