Try tools bbuild from before it moved to the tools deps native pod 1.5 for now.

This bug is inside of tools deps latest commit itself

When you refer to a deps edn file that doesn’t exist in create basis

@U07FP7QJ0 FYI, released the tools-deps-native 0.1.6 pod which reverts toold.build to what tools.build uses currently. I also bumped tools.bbuild to use this. This should work. If there's any problems let me know.
