announcements 2026-10-06

We just released https://www.badmonkey.ai/agentspaces/ - P2P collaboration fabric for agents, services, and people that work with them. AgentSpaces gives a fleet of agents, and the software services and human operators around them, a shared space to coordinate. Agents post work, claim tasks, publish results, vote on decisions, and recover from each other's failures. There is no broker, no registry, no scheduler, and no server to keep alive. Coordination is peer-to-peer, signed end to end, and replicated across the fleet. • Core library repo: https://github.com/badmonkeyai/AgentSpaces • Clojure lib: https://github.com/badmonkeyai/agentspaces-clj Maven libs just went up for the core library, we'll be publishing to Clojars shortly. Basically fixed Jini and JXTA, modernizing them so you get to coordinating fleets of agents much faster. While it has good ole replicated TupleSpaces, also quorum/voting, raft logs, and a way to layer on other services.

https://github.com/pedestal/pedestal 0.8.2 released! We've been testing and using this release for some time at Nubank catching multiple corner cases since we are preparing for a stable release soon Check the full changelog https://github.com/pedestal/pedestal/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#082---6-oct-2026 We are at #C0K65B20P for doubts!

It started at Cognitect, so it makes sense for it to now be maintained by Nubank. I've been the lead since 2022, but Eric has stepped up in the months since I've left Nubank. Pedestal powers literally tens of thousands of servers at Nubank.

Yeah, I still trust/bother Howard about all the tech stuff there 😅

No bother at all!

I love pedestal! Thanks.

https://github.com/didibus/go-to-sleep A MacOS native app that locks your computer during "sleeping" blocks to force you to go to sleep. • You're only allowed to edit your block hours 8h before the block starts, so you can't get tempted to snooze it. • You can always make a block more restricted, moving it up to sleep earlier for example, but not more loose, you can't push back the time or make it smaller. • Cannot be quit, uninstalled, or disabled using normal means. During a lockout, you can't unlock the computer, so you can't even try to use fancy sudo techniques to get rid of it. Survives reboots as well. • No bypass, no snooze, once it's locked, it's locked. • Implemented using Jolt (Clojure hosted on Chez Scheme) • Fully vibe coded, I've not reviewed the code at all, I only steered the models to implement what I wanted with some guidance, reviewed its planned design and implementation strategies, and manually tested the app.
