@yogthos and anyone else, would love any feedback on AgentSpaces (basically modernized Jini/JXTA) for a P2P fabric for agent collaboration. Core library is in Java, but I did a clj lib too. It has a bit of "enables the Spring devs" flavor to it to try and capture what remains of the enterprise java dev mindset. https://clojurians.slack.com/archives/C06MAR553/p1791301250657409

will have to explore a bit to give useful feedback, but the idea does look interesting 🙂
when we were at bell labs, we had one group - from the SIP conferencing team, that LOVED JavaSpaces, and man were we close in adopting it in a much wider stance, but it had a bunch of centralized pre-reqs to it. The alternate, JXTA, had the kind of "peers discover eachother" to it, but didn't have the replicated tuplespace.... so we adopted neither of them. it's been on my list to fix this for like 25 years, and we finally did
it's nice when you finally get to implement something that's been on your mind for a while 🙂
💯
so speaking of AI, we have fully implemented SIP (RFC 3261), Jabber/XMPP, with VoiceXML and conferencing servers, speech recognition and codec/audio handling... all in Clojure (though in some cases with Java backends, like JAIN SIP as the core SIP stack), I'm debating which, if any, of these we wind up open sourcing... but all are thanks to having written the specs for all of these and using AI to help build them
