@stijn, i'm happy you think so, sorry for yet another breaking change but I thought hard about it and feel it's going to make yada 1.0 easier to use - especially for model-driven generation of APIs

it's one of those things that's going to be harder to change once 1.0 is out so I decided to go for it and make the change during the beta period, and now it feels like it's an obvious improvement - yada has been evolving away from protocols since 0.4.3, and this feels like the final step. There will still be protocols for advanced extensions but beginners won't see them
