Are there any examples of using encryption to protect PII in an XTDB instance (and general cryptographic practices, compliance with related policies in the US, etc.)? I am looking to use XTDB in a project that requires "FedRAMP Moderate" certification which I am assuming can be achieved by simply picking a cloud provider like AWS that offers profiles that achieve the required certifications. But if anyone has any experience using XTDB where there are FIPS-140 and FedRAMP standards to be followed, I'd like to learn about how easy (or hard!) that was.
@jarohen Filled out the Design Partner form online earlier this morning. Let me know if you didn't get it.
received, thank you - it's in @taylor.jeremydavid's inbox 🙂
not personally, but have asked around internally to see if we have anyone who might be able to help 🙂
It will be important, because I am definitely using XTDB for some use cases that will require a strong encryption narrative in the federal space in the US. I noticed you are looking for Design Partners. Perhaps the project(s) I'm working on may be candidates for that.
sounds like it, absolutely 👌 Would you be able to send us some initial details to <mailto:hello@xtdb.com|hello@xtdb.com> and we can set up a chat?
Yeah, I'll work on something to get a conversation started.
brill, thanks! 🙏
