We are using XTDB v1 in our production system and it has been acquiring a lot of disk space. If we want to delete the older versions of document, is there any way via which it can remove them from the disk as I think evict method just adds a tombstone document and it technically increases the disk space.

Hi @namit.shah please see this discussion https://discuss.xtdb.com/t/shrinking-the-database/160 - the short answer is that you probably want to 'decant' the relevant/active portion of the data into a new instance (or just upgrade the disk the size)
