Just saw this line in the docs, so cool: Writes can also be made in the future of valid-time as _proactive operations_. I'm thinking about designs where you can "schedule" data changes ahead of time, instead of submitting a transaction when you want the data to change - and the infra around that

Yeah it's a neat capability, and I think it has lots of good applicability in ecommerce where you often want to preview the future, i.e. > Show me what the website will look like on Black Friday with all the catalogue, promotional and content changes that are currently being worked on

Incidentally it wasn't one of the original design goals for Crux, so it's mostly good fortune that the implementation doesn't preclude it 🙂
