@dominicm I'm almost done with the porting of acid to lua. This allowed me to much easily handle new features such as virtualtexts. When doing that, I felt the need for a multiline, next to the form space where I could place multiline error strings in case of evaluation errors or if I wanted to show the spec of a form - or even generate a sample data for that form. I believe those things would fit well in a floating window that can be thrown away easily...
