cool, you going to link it to github?

tony.kay00:03:52

yep. soon as it is up

folcon00:03:35

very nice simple_smile...

tony.kay00:03:49

thanks! Compelling?

folcon00:03:54

yes :)… (mainly the reason for going through the tutorial!)

folcon00:03:10

hmm, it just occurred to me that the differences between react components and component by stuart sierra might need to be clarified, but I haven’t been looking out for that...

tony.kay01:03:36

@folcon: Ah, good point, since both are in play

matthavener03:03:14

tony.kay: i'm doing the untangled tutorial, i had to create an empty edn file in /usr/local/etc/app.edn, i think due to this line https://github.com/untangled-web/untangled-tutorial/blob/master/src/server/app/system.clj#L18

tony.kay03:03:53

@matthavener: Yes, is that not in the instructions? Oh, well…only if you want to start the app/server. The tutorial does not need that

matthavener03:03:32

ah ok, I kinda blindly followed til the end of the readme before I hit localhost:3449 simple_smile

matthavener03:03:44

I think the 'built-in' parser aspect of untangled is a really great idea, btw! diving into the tutorial now 😄

tony.kay03:03:16

yeah, it made everything for our app development much simpler. Less overall powerful, but so far powerful enough, and the simplicity is worth it

iwankaramazow19:03:07

@tony.kay: Awesome work with Untangled, solves a lot of questions out of the box simple_smile Although Rich Hickey would say we should distrust such simplicity 😄
