I’m trying to setup OpenAI’s Codex service and running into issues with network configuration. The Codex cloud environment puts everything behind a proxy and all internet access has to go through that - https://platform.openai.com/docs/codex/overview#internet-access-and-network-proxy
I can see https://clojurians.slack.com/archives/C6QH853H8/p1720272955557849 which describes using a Maven settings.xml file. Would it make sense for clojure to also look for the http_proxy and https_proxy environment variables? Or is that Maven’s responsibility

Ah yep, looks like Maven users have the same issue: https://community.openai.com/t/codex-unable-to-access-java-maven-repository/1266455/3
