probably this question was asked before; I am guessing there is a good reason why git deps are not resolving lein project "manifest type" (aka parse project.el)
Hasn't been implemented. Doing full support for project.clj would require pulling in a lot of lein as a dependency and don't want to do that. More limited support for simple project.clj is something we have a patch for but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet
