@bhauman Thanks for adding that deps.edn -- see my comments in the now-closed issue... also my comment on the most recent commit (which introduces a syntax error).

Is it a known bug that a local dep inside a git dep doesn't work properly? I expected tools.deps to find the deps.edn inside the cloned repo via the local/root... but it doesn't seem to 😞

There are several I think - it’s all the local dep path stuff
