I've been giving Kaocha a try, is there a way to use a namespace regex filter?

Sorry for the late answer. No, wildcard/regex filtering isn't supported right now, but depending on how much you want it out wouldn't be too hard to do with hooks or a plugin. Happy to put you on your way if you want to explore that.
