@felix.kauppi.alm Thanks for the awesome squint talk on #heartofclojure! Can't wait for it to come online so other people can view it! https://x.com/borkdude/status/1837074510710702438
With spectacular crowd-assisted exorcism of a demo-demon 😆.
@thomasmoerman I probably missed you at the conf, didn't? Next time!
We briefly met in the hallway! I probably should've updated my Slack mugshot earlier for better recognition IRL 😉. Next time for sure!
ah glad that I've met you, although next time we should meet somewhat longer then :)
Thank you, it was a blast. Couldn't have done it without the crowd!
I ran npm run dev just now at the airport and, lo and behold, everything worked fine 🥲
I should look up what -- --host does...
is that an argument to vite?
Yes, npx vite --help gives you that it just sets the hostname
seems so: https://vitejs.dev/config/server-options
and the default is localhost 🤷 I grabbed a screencap of the most stressful moment of my life
😱
This seems similar: https://github.com/nix-community/napalm/issues/31
assuming you used nix (I think you told me somewhere)
so perhaps it was configured to first lookup localhost via dns and then in /etc/hosts or so
Right, that's plausible. Node is installed via nix so some shenanigans could've been going on there
