The link that displays the "See what clojurians is up to" is the invitation link, you can of course use Slack in your browser as well, but using any of your email addresses here should work.

Click Continue With Email to get a registration form, enter your name and email, then click Continue With Email on that form and you'll be signed up.

I agree that it's very confusing to have Continue With Google and Continue With Apple because those are SSO I think, whereas Continue With Email is the generic, open signup.

is just a domain redirect to the actual Slack invite link.

I like Netlify for such things. Super easy to set up. Then we could have SSL as well.

Cost? Account access for other Admins? Right now, it's hosted at NameCheap and all the Admins have access (via info in the private Admins channel). As is the Gmail account associated with Clojurians.
