Hi! How should we be inviting new members to this Slack? I think I used http://clojurians.net when I signed up, but there's a problem with that link now (attached screenshot).

Every invite link can be used by up to 400 people, so admins have to re-point that domain to a new link as soon as the old one is exhausted. Before someone re-points the domain, you can use this link directly: https://join.slack.com/t/clojurians/shared_invite/zt-2qhr9jhk7-gwl1BxtCdutSGC5OWh6fjg

Alright, I figured out how to do it, http://clojurians.net should be working again now.

Amazing, thank you!

It takes about 2-3 months to use up the 400 signups and I set myself a reminder each time... and I knew it was "due" to hit that and expire, so the reminder has been pinging me every day for a couple of weeks but it probably hit it yesterday while I was mostly offline... sorry about that...

I should just get into the habit of invalidating the old link and creating a new one every two months instead of actually waiting...

That might be a good idea 🙂 The person that wanted to get in and let me know it didn't work got in just fine, but people who "don't yet know someone on the inside" may have a harder time.

It's frustrating that Slack change the rules from time to time. It was 2,000 signups for a while (which took a long time to expire), and they've also gone back and forth on the time limit on an invite (right now it's "forever" but with a lower number of signups, which is worse... when it was a fixed amount of time, that was much easier to predict/work with).
