Anyone have this issue where the tooltip is always cutoff by one letter?

off by one error? no, never heard of it 😹

When i get an error it seems like cider is showing me a very truncated version of it. I see options to show: project-only all hide: .... But changing those showing me the same information as if i select and copy the entire buffer to a text file. Where would i go to learn more? is this cider or emacs or some combination?
