This sort of thing is discussed in #community-development fairly regularly. The most recent contender for a Slack replacement is Zulip -- there's a Clojurians community on Zulip and most channels here are mirrored to Zulip which has full searchable archives.

Has anyone managed to get parinfer to work like it does in intellij? Or does anyone strongly think another editor mode is better than parinfer and worth switching to? Parinfer seems to be barrier preventing me from switching to spacemacs and my peers and I have been unable to set it up correctly.
