When using SPC /
(smart search) - I often want to exclude a directory(s) from the search. I know about --ignore=directory pattern
. Anyone know of a shorter version of this, and one that allows for multiple directories to exclude?
@julian depending of what is the default search tool, you can set its arguments for the search.
e.g. if the first thing in dotspacemacs-search-tools
set to rg
, then you can ignore it in the glob, like that:
SPC /
then gulp -g!node_modules
- should search for “gulp” in all files but ignore paths that contain “node_modules”
