@lsenta: I’ve used IntelliJ for many years, I am a long time die-hard Vim fan and in whatever IDE or Editor I use - first and foremost thing I would be looking for is Vi-motions integration. IdeaVim plugin is good enough for many, but I needed more than what it does. Splitting and controlling windows is one among many features that simply Emacs does better.
