The Slack pricing says 7.25 dollar - per user. Is that really being paid for? My client tells me, that this workplace is under the Pro tier. How is that sensible, with a community were lets of people join?
Oh, I see. I remind F# having no such plan, but that was years ago, so maybe that got introduced relative recently.
Or they just didnt know about it. Sad, that its not sure, if that will stay. Especially since the history would disappear
I guess it might make sense, if anybody makes a backup of the workspace
As noted above, read through the threads in #spam-reports Yes, backups (exports) have been performed. We also have @logbot mirroring to the ClojureVerse logs site (display is broken, an update is being worked on) and @zulip-mirror-bot mirroring to ZulipChat https://clojurians.zulipchat.com/#narrow/channel/180378-slack-archive (which should be publicly web accessible).
We receive sponsorship from Slack (as do some other open-source communities), so we are not paying the "sticker price" for this workspace. The uncertain future of this sponsorship has been a recent topic of discussion in #spam-reports.

We have had no communication with Salesforce, so we don't know whether the apparent renewal of the plan is intentional or accidental, and so we feel it might still go away any time...
