Hi folks. If Clojure, Datomic and GraphQL excite you, make an impact building a new AI/ML automation solution with a group of proven serial entrepreneurs and an NLP PhD CTO. My company, Peruse (http://www.peruse.ml) is building a document automation ML platform for the global supply chain. And we need a senior Clojure backend engineer as a full-time, long-term team member. May be contractor or employee status, depending on location. Location: The role is fully remote but should overlap at least four hours per day with Chicago business hours (CST). Tech Stack: Clojure, GraphQL, Datomic, AWS. Note that this is a senior role. We need someone who really knows thier stuff and can work independently. We don’t have time to train on the stack. Team: The team consists of two technical co-founders and two business co-founders. We have three successful exits between us. Our CTO holds a PhD in NLP in addition to being a seasoned engineer. Company Status: Peruse is just over a year old. We have strong cash flow and proven traction will a number of large customers. We’re early stage, but entering the scale phase. Compensation will be market. Equity will also be considered for the right candidate. If this interests you, please DM me and tell me a bit about your specific experience with Clojure and GraphQL against a Datomic database. Hope to hear from you!

Has anyone heard from James since he posted this message? I’ve sent a DM or two and nothing. I hope he’s okay. 🤞

Hi folks. Apologies for the radio silence. I may not be in tune with the culture of this channel. Yes, I’m still here and working through all the DMs. Thank you everyone for your interest. There are clearly a lot of really talented people on this channel. Please understand that, as an early stage company, we need to be pretty rigorous about sticking to the skills we need. Unfortunately, we just don’t have the resources to allow for learning parts of our stack on the job. Thanks for understanding.
