Hello everyone! TL;DR Pre-seed, London-based startup looking for frontend-focussed engineer to help us make grocery shopping better. Tech: ClojureScript, Rum, React, Amplify, GraphQL. Competitive package in line with other pre-seed startups in London. 🙂 I'm working with a startup based in London called Lollipop. We're trying to take the pain out of grocery shopping by building an intelligent shopping assistant that can help with everything from reducing food waste to getting happier and healthier. We're making extensive use of Clojure and ClojureScript across web and mobile apps that are currently being built. We're VC-backed and have enough runway to have a really good crack at innovating in this space with a small, experienced team (three full-timers including myself covering tech, product, and design). We're remote-friendly but bonus points will be awarded if you're near London and can join the occasional meet up when it's safe/required. We won't force anyone to do anything they're not comfortable with however; your happiness and health comes first. Interview process from our end will consist of an initial chat with me, a bit of pair programming for no more than a couple of hours, and a meet or two with the rest of the team to get to know one another. If there's anything you'd like to add, your feedback/input is very welcome! You can find out a bit more about us and the role via our brand new "careers section": https://lollipop.breezy.hr/p/0baba8e2d72d01 Any questions, please feel free to drop me an email at <mailto:[email protected]|[email protected]>. :uk: clj cljs

are you open to remote from Ghana? Same timezone as the UK and a very good english language competency.

Hi, @UTY5SPPLJ. In the interest of transparency, we're hoping for someone close to London but please feel free to apply. 👍

Hi! 👋 I am the current lead developer of The Network, a product for venture capital firms to manage their portfolio companies and services for them. TL;DR: We are looking for a full-time, full-stack dev to take over development of our Fulcro product. Since I am going to focus on our main product again (Sompani), we are looking for a replacement for me. It is a full-stack Fulcro application using Datomic for storage that has been developed from scratch over the past 8 months. We need someone with Clojure knowledge, ideally at least basic Fulcro knowledge, DevOps skills (we use GitLab CI and deploy onto openSUSE servers on Google Cloud), and fluent English. You will be the new lead developer and, apart from advice from me during hand-over, the only developer for the time being. You will be working remote. More details follow shortly.

Do you want direct messages? Are the more details posted somewhere? Inquiring minds want to know. 🙂

You can write me a DM, ideally also with a CV. Unfortunately I did not get the job posting yet (classic startup chaos I guess?), but I already got quite a few people writing us for the position.
