Anybody hiring for truly remote clojure jobs?
Two fully-remote teams I am aware of are Cisco/ThreatGrid and ViaSat. I don't think they are hiring right now though. I believe Sonian and Outpace are both out of the picture these days. There are definitely several other distributed teams working in Clojure.
Outpace is still around and (imo) fully remote (but not fully async). But yeah, we’re not hiring right now.
@U8THE1TLY Well if it is not country bound, timezone is taken careoff isnt it?
Not necessarily. Some places don’t care where you are as long as you are available in certain hours.
That is how it should be ideally, but i havent seen anyone posting such jobs. They usually want you to be in a particular timezone.
That’s what I’m saying? Don’t care where you are “as long as you are available 9-5 PST”. You can be remote anywhere if you don’t mind working nights
All the jobs i applied to, they do usually ask you which timezone you are in. And usually want to meet every few weeks etc…
