NetFoundry is looking for Clojure and ClojureScript developers! We are looking for contractors to work up to 40 hours per week. No timezone restrictions, although we ask that you be available during part of the business day in the US Eastern time zone. * Introduction NetFoundry enables a new network paradigm in which application policies control global, software-defined networks to get top security and performance. Backed by Tata Communications, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, we enjoy their resources and backing while moving with the agility and innovation of a startup. * Technologies We Use - Clojure for back-end services - ClojureScript for our front-end SPA - Kafka and Datomic - Docker * Interesting Problems - We create intuitive user experiences that abstract underlying networking infrastructure - We provide customers with a public API to enable them to programmtically spin up their networks - We are building an event-driven streaming architecture to loosely couple our systems, improve read/write performance, enable flexibility and agility, and better reason about errors About You - You are excited about using Clojure in a production environment, and have experience with Clojure or other functional languages - You have built JVM-oriented production systems - You have a passion for distributed systems - You have read Fielding’s thesis and the HTTP spec more than once - You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a small, agile team If you are interested, please send your CV to Larry Staton at <mailto:[email protected]|[email protected]>
