hey what's going on with Intellij and AI tools, I am out of the loop
I felt forced to switch to Cursor about a year ago for a client project if only to stay ahead of what everyone was talking about (including executives), though at this point everything is via terminal UI now and detached from the IDE so maybe IDE support no longer matters, but I kind of doubt it will stay that way
I was working on an IntelliJ AI plugin for a while, but in the end I think the terminal agents are where it's at. You can use the JetBrains AI plugin with any BYO agent using ACP these days, and it doesn't require a subscription. I use http://pi.dev as my agent, and I've been meaning to set that up but haven't bothered with it too much since having the agent in the terminal mostly works fine for me.
