Yes, we’ll publish here. We don’t have a choice yet for the place, likely around Trafalgar where the tour finishes. Actually, suggestions welcome.

I won't be on the tour or drinks - I'm out in the sticks and since I'm at the conference all day on Monday, one has to make tradeoffs (with the family!)

This is quite nice, and probably not busy on a Monday
They do both beer and wine
Next to it is the Golden Lion for a larger crowd which is a typical Greenes
the good thing about it is it spills out into the alleyway so it can accommodate a large number of people

If we head the other direction north/northeast from Leicester there are many good options too, but they will be quite a bit busier
Not sure what numbers to expect so we could keep a few options open and decide based on the crowd at the moment. We could keep a list of these nice suggestions and the phone number handy (in case we want to check before moving). IMHO the best place is not too noisy/crowdy and typical english

The same here, I’m attending some birthday party, which I only found out that is being held in the afternoon, so I won’t be able to make the walk. But I’ll be coming to the drinks for sure!

Would people be interested in a #conjure (Clojure in Neovim) informal workshop and demo at some point during the day? Maybe in the breakout hacking area? (That space is a fantastic idea!) I'll probably also head to the pub on Sunday to say hi and preach the cult of :wq.
I was originally going to talk about this at Clojure eXchange but changed my mind when it fell through due to being overworked. A little workshop would be okay though!

@olical I can see if we can get a display to the hacking room. I’d avoid using the main room at lunch time, as with ~150 people inside you’d struggle hearing a word and at the same time, I’d let people free of socializing away instead of asking for silence

Yeah, I was thinking the hacking room, doubt there will be toooo many people anyway. If there's no display that's okay, I can just talk about it and have people get it running on their own laptops.
Just checking, I remember the venue talking about a rolling TV stand.

Sure! If there's no interest, no biggie. Was just going to do something small and informal. A kinda demo with help getting it running and how to use it.
I know of at least two people going who would be very excited to see that
Not sure what time would be best 🤔 all I'll do is chat about what conjure is, where it came from, prepl. Then I'll demo conjure and can walk through setting it up basically from scratch for anyone that wants to take it home with them.
Would probably only be 20-30 minutes.
