it is really bad

dvcrn12:04:03

needs at least a couple of months to be usable

dvcrn13:04:15

@sglyon, @geksilla could you please check with the default font (just remove font from .proton) if you also have that italic problem?

dvcrn13:04:28

For me all text is rendered italic. Atom doesn’t even load the Regular ttf

sglyon13:04:01

I’ll try it out. I use Hasklig-Light as my font, so I haven’t noticed anything. But I can turn it off for a minute

dvcrn13:04:09

thank you

dvcrn13:04:23

It might be a bug in Atom 1.7 or something in proton but not sure

sglyon13:04:45

Yep I’m seeing it too

dvcrn13:04:00

need to submit a hotfix with a different font then

dvcrn13:04:42

The strange thing is, if I remove the Italic version from the css, it loads the Regular one

sglyon13:04:58

That is weird

dvcrn13:04:21

now it is normal again

dvcrn13:04:33

something is really weird here

dvcrn14:04:34

markdown-lint is the most annoying thing ever

sglyon14:04:14

Yeah I don’t like that linter adds another gutter,so I turned it off. It took up too much space in the margins for my liking

dvcrn14:04:22

do we have support already for turning a linter off?

dvcrn14:04:50

Submitted a PR to swap Hack with SourceCodePro (which doesn’t seem to have the problem): https://github.com/dvcrn/proton/pull/196

dvcrn14:04:00

if you have font suggestions please let me know. I’m going to deploy this tomorrow morning

lucien.knechtli14:04:15

I like Fira Code

dvcrn14:04:58

thank god @geksilla added this already 😄

dvcrn14:04:14

bye bye markdown-lint. Hope I never see you again

sglyon14:04:50

I like hasklig. It is source code pro + ligature support
